Give The Gift of Hope To Others Less Fortunate This Holiday Season
Columbia Residential And The Atlanta Police Department Zone 6 Precinct Announce Holiday Toy Drive To Benefit 100 Families
Atlanta, GA – November 26, 2024 – Giving is not just about making a donation; it’s about making a difference. This holiday season, while many children across metro Atlanta will experience the joy of unwrapping presents beneath twinkling Christmas trees, others will face the heartbreak of waking up to an empty space where presents should be. For families already stretched thin by rising costs and the weight of inflation, the holidays bring an added layer of stress, making it nearly impossible to provide the magic every child deserves. No child should feel forgotten, and no family should face the season with a sense of hopelessness. Together, we can bring joy, hope, and holiday cheer to those who need it most.
In that spirit, Columbia Residential will partner with the Atlanta Police Department Zone 6 Precinct this year to bring the magic of the holiday season to 100 families in the Edgewood community—but they need your help. The public is invited to support this annual holiday toy drive by purchasing toys, games, and gift cards for these deserving families via an Amazon wish list: https://bit.ly/3Z1kuMb.
“Every toy, board game, or gift card will help us bring smiles to the children and families in Edgewood this holiday season,” said Jennifer Owens, Vice President of Resident Services for Columbia Residential. “We encourage the public to help us spread holiday cheer to these families through their generous donations.”
“The Atlanta Police Department Zone 6 Precinct is honored to serve the families in the Edgewood community. We’ve seen firsthand how parents want to make the holidays special for their kids, but they can’t afford it. We’re asking the public to join us in making holiday wishes come true for these precious children. Every donation makes a difference,” explained Officer R. Stanio, Zone 6 Quality of Life Officer.
Donations will be gratefully accepted through December 12 and delivered directly to the Atlanta Police Department Zone 6 Precinct. On December 13, your generous gifts will be distributed to 100 families at a private event with refreshments and pictures with Santa.
Won’t you help us make the holidays a little brighter for children in the Edgewood community?
