Jennifer Owens is the Vice President of Resident Services, managing all supportive services delivered to residents for the company to ensure residents remain stable in their housing. Under Jennifer’s leadership, Columbia Residential earned the Certified Organization for Resident Engagement & Services (CORES) Certification recognizing the company’s robust commitment, capacity, and competency in providing resident services coordination in affordable rental homes.
In 2017, Jennifer founded Dash and Dwell, LLC out of the need to provide quality relocation services to Columbia Residential residents affected by an acquisition and redevelopment of their apartment homes. Jennifer manages all operations for the company. She is focused on ensuring compliance with all federal and state relocation policies for housing owners and developers while supporting the comprehensive relocation needs of residents.
In 2022, Jennifer founded Core Connect, Inc., a non-profit organization focused on supporting the resident services initiatives for Columbia Residential.
Jennifer is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and holds a Master of Social Work from Georgia State University. She has over 20 years of experience in community organizing including her service as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador. Jennifer is recognized as one of Urban Land Institute Atlanta’s Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) ‘The Leaders’ 2021.
