Ken Clark, Chief Operating Officer, is a seasoned affordable housing industry professional with over 30 years of experience in real estate, finance, and operations management.
As COO, Ken serves at the executive level and provides oversight for the financial operations and corporate compliance and efficiency of the company’s business units. His span of responsibilities includes accounting, finance, human resources, and corporate compliance functions across Columbia companies. Ken brings extensive experience, particularly in financial systems, processes, reporting, and in operational roles in the housing arena. He shares Columbia’s passion for providing quality affordable housing communities that advance lives and strengthen neighborhoods.
Ken is a graduate of Morehouse College and holds an MBA in Management of Technology from Georgia Tech. He most recently served as the Deputy Director of the Housing Authority of Savannah, Georgia, and has held several leadership positions with Atlanta Housing, including Vice President of Business Transformation, Chief Financial Officer, and Deputy Chief Real Estate Officer. Additionally, Ken led his own affordable housing consulting business, providing clients with strategic services related to real estate transaction structuring, technology, and financial operations.
