Yoshonda Stafford
Vice President of Compliance Services
Yoshonda Stafford joined Columbia Residential in October 2024 and serves as the Vice President of Compliance Services. Her responsibilities include the evaluation and implementation of compliance policies and procedures, as well as providing training and oversight for management agents. Yoshonda has more than 20 years of affordable housing compliance and property management experience.
Yoshonda believes that involvement in the provision of affordable housing at any level is a privilege and that it is honorable to serve others by meeting basic needs. To do this well and to protect the interests of stakeholders across the board, an understanding of regulatory compliance is essential.
She has managed compliance for a range of affordable housing products, including four and nine percent LIHTC acquisitions-rehabs and multilayered deals with Project-Based Section 8. Yoshonda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University and has earned and housing professional designations from Quadel, NCHM, NAHB, and Spectrum.
